Even before Jasiek was born, we were searching the entire internet for some cool, modern and original clothing brands for children. We don’t really like blue blowsers with teddy bears for boys and pale pink t-shirts in flowers for girls; bleh! We wanted to dress Jaśka with children’s versions of clothes that we would actually wear ourselves! In addition to big clothing chains we regularly visit, we found some new and original Polish independent fashion brands that stole our hearts.
We discovered Minikid at Mamaville (Polish exhibition for baby brands) and immediately fell in love with their collection. All the Minikid clothing is neutral colored, which perfectly matches everything. Their collections are dominated by black and grey, tall t-shirts and tall hooded sweaters. Their clothes are not only fashionable but also made of the highest quality cotton with lots of attention to detail in little zips and ties found on the clothes. They have just recently dropped their new autumn collection online… and we are already planning another order!
2. Zombie Dash
Zombie Dash is a well known Polish brand started in 2013 producing distinctive clothes with their iconic little creatures branding – ideal for small, energetic rebels such as our Jasiek. Zombie Dash pants are the first piece of clothing we got from my mum when we learned I was pregnant. The Blue Zombies have accompanied us to this day (Jasiek has been wearing them for over 4 months and still has some room in them). What distinguishes Zombie Dash against other brands? Their collections are created for both children and adults. Thanks to that, my boys dress identically!
If you are looking for cool hats and beanies for your baby, go to Titot. We accidentally found them on Instagram and bought the first hats in time for Jasiek’s birth (it was winter). We did not know their size but the caps are really long so they fitted our big little boy well. They are excellent quality, lightweight and perfectly fitted to the ear so they protect the child from wind – take them with you everywhere! At Titot we also buy scarves and slippers – ideal for strollers for autumn walks. We love it!
Yakko is a brand for real, small fashionistas! Their collections reference the latest in adult fashion trends. The clothes are made of high quality materials so that the little ones can feel at ease. We fell in love with their hoodies and jumpers!
5. Dear Sophie
Minimalism is the theme of Dear Sophie. This Polish brand offers a small collection dominated by a neutral color palette and monochrome prints. Their rompers are quite flexible making them very comfortable for toddlers!
